Asesoría SB: from outdated WordPress to a modern site that captures clients
Full redesign of the website of a fiscal firm in Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz). We replaced a slow, outdated WordPress with a modern Astro site that loads in under 1 second and ranks on Google.
The challenge
Asesoría SB had a WordPress site that no one maintained. Plugins were out of date, the theme was from 2016, and the page took more than 6 seconds to load. The worst part: when a potential client searched for “asesoría fiscal Jerez de los Caballeros” on Google, the site was nowhere to be found.
For a local business that depends on trust, having a neglected website is worse than having no website at all. It communicated the exact opposite of what the firm needed: professionalism and approachability.
The solution
I rebuilt the site from scratch with Astro and a focus on three things: speed, local SEO and clear conversion.
- Clear services structure so a cold visitor understands in 5 seconds what the firm does and who it serves.
- Direct contact form without friction, with phone number and WhatsApp visible.
- Local SEO optimization with city-specific H1s, LocalBusiness schema, Google My Business setup and geolocated keywords in content.
- Extreme performance: under-1-second load, Lighthouse scoring 98+, 0 layout shift.

The outcome
In the first month after launch, the site started ranking on page 1 for the main local searches. Contact form submissions came in consistently — new lead flow that didn’t exist before.
The client can update content themselves through a simple CMS, and the technical support plan handles anything they can’t cover.
Result
The site loads in under 1 second, ranks in the top Google results for local 'asesoría fiscal Jerez de los Caballeros' searches, and generates a steady flow of contacts through the form.
